How to book direct

Message or call 016-421 4825. That is my own phone, and it is the whole system. Tell me your dates, which apartment, and how many of you there are.

What happens, in order

  • You message me the datesWhich apartment, when you arrive, when you leave, and how many adults and children. If you are unsure which apartment suits you, tell me what you are in Penang for and I will say.
  • I confirm it is freeUsually within the hour, and I answer the messages myself. If the one you wanted is taken, I will tell you what else is open on those dates.
  • I send the rate and the payment detailsThe figure I give you is the figure you pay. A deposit holds the dates; we settle the rest before you arrive.
  • The address and door details come before you travelAlong with my number, which you keep for the whole stay.

Coming for a month or longer? Say so in the first message. Long stays at Bayan Lepas are common because of the factories and the university, and they have their own rate.

Questions I get asked

Is this the official website for Pinang Keys?

Yes. This is my own site and 016-421 4825 is my own number. My apartments also appear on Airbnb and Booking, and those listings are mine too.

Can I book over WhatsApp?

That is how most people do it. Message 016-421 4825 with your dates and I will take it from there.

Do I have to pay through a website?

No. We agree the rate on the phone and I send you payment details directly.

Can I see the apartment before I commit?

There are photographs of every room on each apartment's page, and the listings carry more. If you want to see something specific, message me and I will send a photo of it — the kitchen, the view, where the beds actually are.

What if I need an extra bed, a cot, or an early check-in?

Ask when you book. Those are the easiest things in the world to arrange when somebody tells me in advance.
